Vintage Carpet Handbag

In preparation for the new baby girl, while garnering all the necessary supplies and decorating an inviting and engaging nursery, my sister cleaned out some of the items of her closet, items that despite a certain beauty or charm have been neglected in favor of newer pieces these few months. During this gleaning process, I lucked out, and procured from her discarded pile a collection of beautiful and unique vintage handbags. Included in my loot was this carpeted handbag, a subtle floral pattern of autumnal hues, pumpkin, rusted coral, acorn. The structure and detailing are classic, as is the fabric. Unfortunately, to date, I have been able to debut this beauty about the town only for various tedious errands, heading to the grocery, buying new shampoo, and the like. Use, though, is use, even for the mundane. Already anticipating a time when she will be older and can appreciate such relics of bygone aesthetics, I have been thinking about when I can bequeath items of my own collection to my baby niece.
