Golden Lusting

As I stare outside at the deluge of ice slush that has been plummeting from a seemingly never ending and unforgiving angry sky, I hope and pray for a golden sun to soon emerge and offer a bit of respite and resplendence. I also find myself thirstily lusting for this beautiful, beautiful clutch; if the absolutely divine form and structure did not immediately envelope you into its seductive design, I would imagine the luminous and precious 18k gold medium would sing you a sweet and enchanting lullaby. This particular clutch is a vintage piece, from late 1970s or early 1980s France, and will set you back something in the realm of 20,000$. The French have always had a wise and effortless understanding of decadent aesthetic. After spending too many waking hours in the office the past couple of days, I have just prepared myself a well deserved gimlet, but that thirst for gold will have to remain unquenched.

  1. this is a gorgeous clutch...very pretty, i'm sure you could find something similar (and a whole lot cheaper) on e-bay.
