My Jewels are in my Heart

Some of the most valuable, the most cherished of precious things, contentment, intellect, intuition, compassion, kindness, are not to be worn and displayed, strewn about carelessly and wantonly, but lay strong and silent in the heart and in the mind, swelling throughout the body and releasing and permeating invisible into external space through our senses and extremities, in our choices and actions and thoughts. That being said, and my homage to dear Will Shakespeare aside, I would love to be able to wake up and wear a golden bejeweled skirt every day of my life.

Saturday morning lazy coffee soundtrack: "Some Velvet Morning" Lee Hazlewood; "Today" Jefferson Airplane; "Don't Need" White Magic; "You are Free" Cat Power; "Crap Kraft Dinner" Hot Chip
